The Property Maintenance Technicianwill be responsible for maintaining all aspects of facility maintenance operations at GA Telesis. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe secure and efficient environment for our employees clients and visitors. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of facility maintenance and a commitment to upholding industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Maintaindaytoday upkeep and maintenance of the facilities.
Assist in the development and maintain asset plans including space planning expansion and optimization; and manage daily operations.
Coordinate facility maintenance activities ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
Oversee the operation of critical systems including HVAC electrical systems plumbing security and emergency response procedures.
Optimize facility space to enhance operational efficiency and accommodate future growth.
Coordinate with relevant departments to plan and implement office layouts and workspace modifications.
Maintain environmental KPIs facility inspection reports safety records waste management reporting and OSHA injury/accident reporting.
Ensure that vendors comply with contractual agreements and industry standards.
Stay informed about aviation regulations and ensure that facilities comply with all relevant laws and standards.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to safeguard employees and visitors.
Develop and implement emergency response plans to address various scenarios ensuring the safety of occupants and assets.
Conduct regular drills and training exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in facilities management preferably in the aviation industry.
Knowledge of aviation health and safety regulations and standards.
Supervisory experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
