Job Purpose

As aUser Experience Research Leadat Betfred you will play a critical role in shaping our sportsbook products by leading qualitative and quantitative research initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers Designers Engineers and other stakeholders to uncover user needs optimise experiences and provide datadriven insights. As this is a newly established function we are looking for a proactive handson research leader who thrives in a highautonomy environment and can drive research initiatives from the ground up.

Job Duties

• Establish and lead user research programs including focus groups surveys onsite usability testing and market trend analysis.

• Develop and execute research strategies to gather actionable insights that inform product design and business decisions.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify research opportunities and integrate findings into the product development lifecycle.

• Synthesize and communicate research findings through compelling reports presentations and workshops.

• Advocate for usercentered design principles by ensuring research insights influence product and business strategy.

• Stay informed about industry trends competitor offerings and emerging research methodologies to continuously refine Betfreds approach to UX research.

• Foster a culture of experimentation and datadriven decisionmaking within the organisation.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in UX research with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability toleadresearch initiatives ideally in a highly transactional technology business Ecommerce or a similar fastpaced environment.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful insights.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey research findings effectively.

• High level of autonomy with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive projects forward without extensive oversight.

• Experience collaborating with Designers Product Managers and Engineers to implement research insights.

• Familiarity with UX research tools survey platforms and usability testing methodologies.

• Interest in or experience in sports and/or gaming/betting is a plus but not mandatory.
