About the Role
As a Facilities Officer youll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to students staff and stakeholders ensuring a welcoming and vibrant campus atmosphere. You will assist with the maintenance and facility operations of rural campuses and student accommodation in your region providing support with tasks like Work Health and Safety (WHS) activities responding to student emails about maintenance items and conducting inspections and changeovers. Youll also manage inventory purchase cleaning supplies and coordinate maintenance and bookings for fleet vehicles.
In addition youll assist with contractor management coordinating contractors for scheduled building maintenance repairs and infrastructure tasks. Youll also contribute to the preparation and renewal of leases for student accommodations all while aligning with the Universitys contractor management procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations across Northern Territory facilities.
A Northern Territory Drivers Licence is a requirement for this position.

About Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT
Our postgraduate education pathways (Remote Health Practice program) provides workforce development through Indigenous health and clinical skills training and we have a community driven research program led by researchers committed to improving health outcomes. We work alongside Poche SANT focussing on Indigenous leadership capacity development and developing the Indigenous health workforce. All activities are driven by our values which focus on the longterm and shortterm needs of the NT community.
