Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker to work in a residential care setting.
We have both regular shifts 35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we dont offer sponsorship and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.
Rate of Pay: 12.26 15.82 per hour
Summary:
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to support vulnerable adults and older people across the county. You will provide highquality personcentred care that promotes independence dignity and wellbeing. Working in homes care facilities or community settings you will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life for service users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide practical and emotional support to individuals based on personalised care plans
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing toileting and grooming
- Support with mobility including the use of aids and hoists where necessary
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding where required
- Administer or assist with medication in accordance with care plans and training
- Carry out light household duties including cleaning and laundry
- Build positive relationships with clients families and other care professionals
