Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain inventory of technical supplies and equipment On Board Cruise Ship.
Place orders for necessary supplies and equipment in a timely and costeffective manner.
Receive and inspect all incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality standards and match the order specifications.
Properly store all materials and equipment in designated areas for easy identification and retrieval.
Issue supplies and equipment to crew members as needed ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future supply needs making recommendations for restocking as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions including receipts issues and returns.
Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of technical supplies and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations when handling and storing technical materials and equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in the maritime industry.
Strong knowledge of technical supplies and equipment including their storage and handling requirements.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to handling technical materials and equipment.
