Job Description
POSITION: Tax Manager
LOCATION: Cape Coral FL
WORK TYPE: Fulltime onsite
Our client is a wellestablished accounting firm located in sunny Cape Coral Florida. With two offices in Florida they have been successfully serving clients for over 25 years. This is a great opportunity for a motivated disciplined Tax Manager who values worklife balance and is looking to make an impact at a smaller firm.
Please note that this position is fulltime onsite. There is no remote or hybrid work offering for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare corporate financial statements and tax returns (personal returns as needed)
- File payroll and sales tax returns
- Assist clients in resolving tax issues with the IRS
- Support and mentor midlevel staff
- Work additional hours during tax season to meet filing deadlines
Requirements:
- CPA or EA license (Florida preferred but not required)
- 7 years of tax preparation experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field is required
- Prior experience working at a CPA firm is required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. No visa sponsorship is provided for this position.
