Job Description

My client is a proprietary trading firm. They are looking for a C software engineer to join their core trading infrastructure team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing highperformance lowlatency C applications for market data processing order and risk management
  • Integrating with exchange APIs and lowlevel network protocols to minimize latency
  • Collaborating with quantitative researchers to translate their models and strategies into productionready software
  • Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues in a fastpaced missioncritical environment
  • Continuously researching and implementing new technologies to stay ahead of the competition

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience developing highperformance lowlatency C applications
  • Expertise in modern C (C11/14/17 and proficiency in data structures algorithms and software design patterns
  • Experience with lowlatency programming techniques
  • Familiarity with financial markets trading systems and algorithmic trading strategies is a plus but NOT A MUST
