Our client a leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Trader to join their team and oversee the firms trading activities. As the Trader you will be responsible for managing the efficient and timely of trades across various asset classes ensuring best for the firm and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily trading activities including order management trade and settlement
- Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize quality and minimize market impact
- Monitor market conditions news and economic data to identify trading opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with the portfolio management team to understand investment objectives and trading requirements
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulations internal policies and industry best practices
- Continuously research and implement new trading technologies techniques and tools to enhance performance
- Provide detailed trade analysis and reporting to the management team
- Mentor and train junior members of the trading team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Trader with a strong track record of successful trade
- Deep understanding of global financial markets trading mechanics and market microstructure
- Proficiency in using trading platforms order management systems and market data software
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make quick and informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations in the financial industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Finance or a related field
- Experience in managing a team of traders
- Certification in Financial Risk Management (FRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Expertise in automated trading strategies and algorithmic
