About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Network Engineer who thrives in setting up and maintaining network infrastructure. In this role you will have the opportunity to deploy and integrate both cloudbased and onpremise devices as well as automate network and infrastructure provisioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain network performance across multiple physical sites and cloud environments.
- Design and implement network configurations and connections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
- Design system configurations and oversee system installations to establish a robust networking environment.
- Define document and enforce system standards.
- Perform automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Configure routers and firewalls to ensure optimal network security.
- Update and maintain servers and network equipment.
- Collaborate closely with IT Security Engineers to secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- 5 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of various network protocols.
- Proficiency with network devices such as switches routers and firewalls.
- Solid understanding of hypervisors and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning automation.
- Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus.
