Job Description:
The candidate is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the security infrastructure and systems within a global financial institution which has wellestablished in Hong Kong.
1. Security Infrastructure Design: Design and implement the organizations security infrastructure including firewalls intrusion detection systems data encryption and authentication systems.
2. Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the organizations IT systems.
3. Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies procedures and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
4. Security Monitoring and Detection: Deploy and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to potential security breaches and threats.
Requirements:
1. Education: A bachelors degree in computer science information security or a related field is typically required. A masters degree in a relevant discipline may be preferred for senior positions.
2. Technical Skills: Indepth knowledge of networking protocols operating systems databases and cloud computing platforms. Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems encryption and vulnerability scanning tools.
3. Security Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are highly valued.
