Position Overview:
At Brunswick we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.
Works facilitating and completing varying functional processes and procedures and coordinates activities or workers engaged in assembly.
Essential Functions:
- Trains and motivates workers to highest levels of productivity and quality.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Interprets specifications blueprints and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop department or work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Estimates requisitions and inspects materials.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Sets up machines and equipment.
- Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
- Mercury certified motor rigger
- Certified in Marine Electrical Training

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to utilize basic measuring tools ie. Taper gauges straight edges tape measures squares.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including ability to challenge team members/peers appropriately to follow standards.
- Exhibits a willingness to help others eagerness to learn.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Green Belt or Yellow Belt training/ certification
- Knowledge of drawings
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Working Conditions:
- May be required to work in a nonair conditioned area
- Regularly required to work at heights on platforms lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs
- Exposed to noise dust fumes and odors on a daily basis.
- PPE required: Hearing protection vision protection safety toe shoes safety gloves
The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.50 $25.80 hourly The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including jobrelated knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.
At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
