Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Distributed Computing Engineer to join our Cloud team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Ray strong proficiency in Python and expertise in structured and unstructured data management. This role involves developing distributed systems managing financial data and optimizing performance in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize distributed computing solutions using Ray.
- Write efficient highquality code in Python for cloudbased applications.
- Manage and process structured and unstructured data effectively.
- Work with financial data related to equity and derivatives ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate distributed systems into cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and integrate market data from various sources ensuring efficient and reliable delivery.
- Stay current with new technologies and demonstrate intellectual curiosity to learn and apply them.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Ray in a production environment.
- Strong coding skills in Python.
- Expertise in structured and unstructured data management.
- Familiarity with financial data related to equity and derivatives.
- Prior experience with financial data vendors and market data.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure etc. is a plus.
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
