As a Senior Product Manager Technical Products (PMT) intern at Amazon you will assume endtoend product ownership over one of our technical products. These products might be hardware offerings software or technical services. PMTs leverage their technical depth to partner closely with highly talented engineers in defining a vision and building a roadmap to launch technical products that play a key role in making Amazon Earths most customer centric company. With a customer base that can span across retail shoppers developers CIOs and business leaders PMTs are set on a path to become leaders of major business segments or technical organisations.
From Day 1 you will be given ownership of large products the autonomy to think strategically and make datadriven decisions and the ability to drive significant transformative innovation. You will dive into the product and business details and will not be afraid of rolling up your sleeves and get your hands dirty to deliver on the experience that our customers expect and deserve and on the business outcomes that demonstrate that we have done our job. You take personal ownership over a set of problems and outcomes and can influence people by leaning on your technical experience your excellent written and verbal communications and strong problemsolving skills.
Are enrolled in a fulltime MBA program
Experience in a relevant industry working within technology teams
Can relocate to where the internship is based
Experience as a product manager or owner
Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and working crossfunctionally
Experience working in science technology engineering or mathematics (STEM)
Sound business judgment proven ability to influence others and strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A combination of technical and business acumen.
Ability to navigate a complex and unstructured crossfunctional environment.
