A day in the life

Were looking for our next Breakfast Announcer to cohost Rockhamptons Triple M Breakfast Show a local legend of the airwaves! Youll bring energy creativity and a genuine love for Central Queensland to help create a show thats bold entertaining and truly connected to the community.

As the newest member of the Triple M family youll work alongside Pinky to wake up Rocky with content thats funny real and unforgettable. Youll know how to craft compelling breaks bring stories to life and connect with listeners both on and off the mic.

What youll be doing:

• Delivering a show thats technically sharp creatively excellent and reflects the unique vibe of Rockhampton.
• Aligning onair content with our stations content strategy while staying compliant with The Broadcasting Services Act Commercial Radio Codes of Practice and all relevant broadcasting standards.
• Promoting music show segments and station features in a way thats engaging and appropriate for our audience with a great instinct for editing out anything that might not land well.
• Working closely with the sales and scheduling teams to flag any issues with commercials or sponsorships so were always sounding seamless and professional.

What Youll Need

• Broadcasting voice suitable for the target audience with a breadth of radio experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivated and willing to work as part of a content team.
• Produces engaging products with appropriate content format style and pace.
• Can relate content decisions to the impact they will have on the market/customer/key audiences.
• An understanding of legal compliance issues with regards to contests including the assessment of risk around legal and PR outcomes.
