Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee OTH Hotels & Resorts. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

Sales Coordinator
We OTH Hotels & Resorts are looking for a dedicated and committed Sales Coordinator. You will play a key role in leading our team to exceed guest expectations and support propertywide initiatives.

What will you do
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales team in an effort to attain all customer service revenue and profit goals while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for reservations for transient/group guests calls and request through onsite managers.
Handle all transient and group routing credit card authorization forms routing and folio request.
Support and assist the sales team to include but not limited to qualifying calls/leads VIP arrival and site inspections lobby presence and client requests.
Setting up group billing/routing.
Overall support and organization with systems used in sales and operations including but not limited to Microsoft 365 programs Publisher Adobe Canva Opera and Alice.
Noting special request for group guest or VIPs and more as directed.
Ability to service and oversee inhouse meetings hosted by all departments.
Reconcile monthly commission for Online Travel Agents (OTAs).
Manage Reservation email requests and inquiries.
Handle all guests needs in a professional manner following OTH Hotels Resorts standards.
Complete as directed and to specifications all necessary projects tasks within specified deadlines.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Assisting Front Desk with access to channel manager platforms for any Failed to Interface reservations.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Support in ordering of branded items and supplies for the sales and catering department.
Attend and take notes at weekly Managers Meeting and BEO meetings.
Ability to check group programs to ensure services are being provided as contracted.
Support sales effort in research of potential programs utilizing internet and other systems.
Support the Managing Director with tasks as required.

About you:
Experience As an ideal candidate You will have:

CORE COMPETENCIES
Customer service/relations verbal and written communication skills decision making teamwork organization innovation leadership creativity empathy empowerment and technical/software competency.
Must have minimum one year experience with Opera.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum two years of hotel experience in Front Desk Reservations or Sales & Marketing.
Knowledge of basic computer programs and platforms to include Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Minimum typing skills of 40 words per minute.
Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with guests/team whether email phone or inperson.
Strong organizational skills detail oriented and excellent follow through with tasks.
Knowledgeable of all aspects of the hotel facilities and area attractions.
Ability to multitask and prioritize to complete daily/weekly tasks and to meet deadlines.
