Job Description
The Product Management Excellence team is looking for an experienced manager to lead a team of technical product managers (PMTs) as you invent the future of fulfillment at Amazon. Our team partners closely with customers and developers to build improve and maintain our products. We are a smart team of doers that work passionately to apply the latest advancements in robotics and software to solve realworld challenges that will transform our customers experiences in ways we cant even imagine yet. We are Amazon Robotics and we will give you the tools and support you need to invent with us in ways that are rewarding fulfilling and fun.
Candidates should have experience working with product managers / teams and be familiar with their scoping / prioritization process. A strong presence and the ability to influence are critical as working with a diverse set of stakeholders is a key aspect of this role. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer and shopper focus and discipline on setting communicating and achieving dates upwards and laterally. The ability to understand how different areas of the business are interconnected across marketplaces will be key to develop a product vision. Candidates should have exceptional written communication skills and a proven track record of delivering projects from concept to launch.
A day in the life
There is no typical day as a PMT You will spend time analyzing customer requests developing models to understand tradeoff decisions creating financial models building requirements working with engineering teams and much more!

About the team
The Product Management Excellence (PME) teams mission is to collaborate with Leadership and broadly across AR to establish our longterm vision and influence ARs product and technology strategy to develop a portfolio that maximizes ARs impact to Amazon. We aim to own the full product lifecycle by balancing three ongoing priorities: 1 continuously improving the worlds largest robotics product base 2 delivering new solutions that maximize our customers business performance and 3 inventing transformative products to solve our customers future needs
3 years of team management experience
5 years of product management experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Sciences or another technical field
Experience with feature delivery and product tradeoffs
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technical decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience in advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel discussions
MBA or Masters Degree in a related technical field
Strong analytical skills to understand and solve complex business problems
Experience with feature intake and prioritization
Ability to work in a highly ambiguous and rapidly changing environment willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary
Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders across teams and businesses
