We are looking for a motivated Sr. Technical Program Manager to join the team to help deliver core components of our Installment systems. Core GIL components are used across 14 countries. Come join us!
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr TPM you will be expected to
Own programs with significant complexity with broad crossorganizational and/or deep architectural impact.
Drive large engineering efforts that solve significantly difficult problems for internal team and external partners
Identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies architecture(s) in engineering organization structure(s).
Scope plan implement and deliver projects and programs and collaborate with program managers and senior leaders to align with strategic vision and goals
Drive projects cross functionally build partnerships with other organizations and work proactively with business teams to ensure security objectives are met
Establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms
Support deep dive assessments and adhoc data analysis requests
Deliver findings recommendations and remediation steps for all activities
About the team
Global Installments Lending (GIL) team owns the systems that enable installments every Amazon customer in the world. We balance keeping our systems fast scalable and performant (no exceptions! with rapidly delivering great features for Amazon customers and our developer partners. In short we get to own and innovate on a critical customer experience while also supporting every other external partners.
5 years of technical product or program management experience
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3 years of software development experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
