Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Salary: 41500 negotiable depending on experience (overtime available based on workload) Location: Mobile based in Peterborough & Surrounding Areas Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
About the Role
Recruit Mint is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for a leading facilities maintenance client. The role involves servicing schools factories and warehouses with a focus on planned preventative maintenance and occasional reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment troubleshooting issues and liaising with customers and suppliers.
Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repairs on air conditioning systems.
Report defects to the Line Manager and provide parts lists and time estimates for repairs.
Undertake minor installation works.
Ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Person Specification
Good written and spoken English basic mathematical skills.
Recognised technical qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Experience with Building Management Systems.
Installation and maintenance experience with air conditioning systems.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Flexible working hours and availability for a callout rota.
Valid Driving Licence.
Qualifications
Recognised Refrigeration/Air Conditioning qualifications.
Current refrigerant safe handling certificate.
Desirable: mechanical and electrical qualifications.
