What You Will Achieve
You will be part of Pfizers dynamic Global Access and Value (GAV) team and will have the important role of creating and executing the HTA value and evidence (HV&E) strategy. The Director HV&E will report to and support the Sickle Cell Disease franchise HV&E team leader. You will be responsible for the evidence generation strategy of the SCD franchise at the Global level including oversight and development of country launch materials (CEM/ BIM/ GVD) Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) strategy and implementation for ongoing and upcoming clinical studies. This role is focused on generating evidence through latestage clinical trial programs realworld data studies and economic humanistic and epidemiological research.
How You Will Achieve It
Lead development of the HTA Value & Evidence strategy to support the access values for Sickle Cell Disease programs in close partnership with the crossfunctional matrix team
Work closely with Global Program Development Chief Medical Affairs Office Worldwide Research and Development and commercial to ensure that development plans reflect the clinical evidence needs of payers and that gaps in evidence are identified and operationalized within clinical studies
Work with crossfunctional teams to create an aligned value and evidence plan at the Global level
Develop real world evidence generation strategies and lead the design and of studies as needed (e.g. treatment patterns real world effectiveness burden of illness studies epidemiology studies) in collaboration with HV&E Global Medical Affairs and EvGen to generate evidence to fill gaps and support competitive differentiation for reimbursement and value proposition.
Lead the of clinically relevant and scientifically valid cutting edge HEOR studies and projects (including noninterventional studies registries etc. in alignment with the global HEOR strategy focused on enabling and optimizing access.
Lead the development of appropriate data dissemination plans and communicate in a timely manner
Remain fully compliant to all Pfizer SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Qualifications
Must Have
Graduate degree (e.g. MSc MPH PhD) required; 7 years of experience with MSc/MPH/MBA degree; 5 years with PharmD/PhD in HEOR or relevant related fields (health economics epidemiology health services research or other researchfocused public health field) or equivalent experience
Demonstrated expert understanding of fundamental health services research methods and tools including but not limited to: Health economics Costeffectiveness / budgetary impact modeling Patient reported outcomes measures Real world evidence studies Epidemiology and Statistics
Experience working with private and public payers in US markets and HTA organizations such as NICE GBA CADTH ICER and other reimbursement bodies is strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in teams in a matrix environment
Proven ability to develop strong partnerships across multiple functions within a large group/company
Executive presence and ability to independently engage all levels of stakeholders within all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to assess the anticipated value for projects/programs to ensure alignment with business priorities in a changing landscape
A track record with an mindset focused on getting things done efficiently and effectively
Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage multiple projects involving complex processes significant budget competing deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities in a compliant manner
Ability to understand synthesize and summarize complex topics to diverse audiences of both scientific andcommercial stakeholders
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Launch experience is preferred
