The Department of Health and Human Performance at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for two fulltime temporary (nontenurable) faculty positions #120030 and #130010 at the rank of lecturer for its SpeechLanguage Pathology and Audiology Program. These are oneyear temporary appointments. The lecturers contract may be renewed annually based on available funding demonstrated need and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The start date for the appointment is August 1 2025.
The successful candidates will teach five 5 undergraduate courses in the SpeechLanguage Pathology and Audiology Program. Courses may include Introduction to Communication Disorders Diagnostics Child Language Development in Education Anatomy Child Language Disorders Adult Language and Neurogenic Communication Disorders and other courses related to the field and clinical supervision.
A masters degree in speechlanguage pathology is required by the appointment date.
A Certificate of Clinical Competence/SLP and Tennessee State Licensure or submitted applications are required by the appointment date.
Applicants with three 3 years of clinical experience prior to the appointment date will receive special consideration.
