Healthy Living Champion

At Change Grow Live (CGL) we believe in providing compassionate personcentered support to those facing challenges with substance use. As a Healthy Living Champion youll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere at Simons Caf supporting its daily operations and ensuring an inclusive environment for both the public and service users. Youll assist with volunteer rotas group activities stock monitoring food presentation cash transactions and basic admin tasks. Additionally youll help promote wellbeing through the Five Ways to Wellbeing sessions and contribute to a collaborative team environment while embracing learning opportunities.

Location: Coventry

Part Time Hours: 30 per week
Actual Salary: 20061.60 per year

*Please note: fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the Role

As a Healthy Living Champion youll play a key part in creating a warm supportive environment in our community caf. You will:

• Support the daytoday operations of Simons Caf

• Create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for the public and service users

• Help coordinate volunteer rotas and caf activities

• Facilitate or support Five Ways to Wellbeing group sessions

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

• Monitor stock support ordering and manage food and drink presentation

• Handle cash transactions and support with basic admin tasks

• Promote teamwork and take part in learning and development opportunities

About You

Were looking for someone friendly reliable and passionate about community wellbeing. Ideally you will have:

• Experience in a caf hospitality or customer service environment

• A warm and approachable attitude with strong people skills

• Confidence working in a team and supporting others

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Basic food safety knowledge and experience handling food and drink

• NVQ Level 1 in hospitality & catering (or willingness to work towards it)

• A genuine passion for creating a positive experience for others
