What youll be doing
The Enterprise AntiMoney Laundering (EAML) Group is responsible for all aspects of CIBCs AntiMoney Laundering (AML) and AntiTerrorist Financing (ATF) and Sanctions regime including development of policies and procedures development and delivery of training and reviewing the activities of CIBCs business and infrastructure groups and investigative activities including the receipt and analysis of information that may indicate money laundering financing or sanctions violation or other highrisk activity. Reporting to the Director EAML Strategy & Reporting The Senior Consultant Metrics Governance and Resource Optimization will play a pivotal role in the Enterprise AntiMoney Laundering (EAML) Group focused on developing robust metric governance practices and reporting and on optimizing resource allocation. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance metrics integrity and optimize resource allocation. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing frameworks that support effective resource management and metrics governance ultimately contributing to the success of the EAML program.

How youll succeed
Framework Development Establish and implement a comprehensive metrics governance framework and process to support accuracy and consistency of EAML information used across various management and board reports.
Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with stakeholders to define roles and responsibilities related to metrics governance fostering a culture of accountability.
Metrics Reporting Collaborate in the development of various reports with a focus on metrics and KPIs used to update executive management and the Board of Directors on the health of the EAML Program.
Continuous Improvement Regularly assess and refine metrics governance strategies to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
Resource Assessment Framework Develop and implement a resource assessment framework to support effective resource management.
Capacity Forecasting Lead the development of forecasting models to predict future resource needs for EAML based on historical data upcoming projects regulatory requirements and strategic initiatives.
Monitoring and Review Establish a regular review process to monitor resource allocation and utilization against forecasts tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource efficiency.
Who you are
You have an undergraduate degree preferably in Business Administration Data Management Information Technology or a related field. Masters degrees or relevant certifications are an asset.
You have at least 5 years of practical experience in resource optimization data governance or a related field preferably within the financial services or regulatory environment.
You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You communicate detailed information in a meaningful have strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make datadriven decisions.
You have strong communication skills. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
You can demonstrate experience in in data analytics and visualization tools. Its an asset if you are familiar with data governance frameworks and best practices.
