What Youll Do:

As the Supported Employment Team Lead youll be the driving force behind a lifechanging program that helps individuals with severe and persistent mental illness find meaningful competitive employment. You wont just manage a teamyoull inspire coach and grow them ensuring they have the tools and support needed to empower clients on their employment journey.

Your days will be dynamic and deeply rewarding. Youll work oneonone with clients in the communityat their homes potential workplaces and job sitesguiding them through every step of the employment process. From identifying interests and skills to landing the right job and providing followalong support youll be there making a lasting impact.

Youll also play a key strategic role by:

• Leading weekly team supervision to ensure best practices and adherence to the IPS Supported Employment Fidelity Model.
• Supporting your team in the field through regular ridealongs realtime feedback and modeling of effective job coaching techniques.
• Building strong professional relationships with local employers and community partners to create new opportunities and expand job placement networks.
• Coordinating referrals tracking staff availability and approving clinical documentation to keep the program running smoothly.
• Collaborating with clinicians case managers and treatment teams to support clients employment goals with a holistic recoveryoriented approach.

Qualifications:

• 1 Have at least a BA/BS degree or be equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education;
• 2 possess demonstrated interpersonal skills ability to work with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or severe emotional disturbance and the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations;
• 3 meet the specifications outlined in the CMHC licensing standards in regard to any ongoing requirements (as in completion of training requirements according to a curriculum approved by the Division of Health Care Policy); and
• 4 pass KBI DCF Child Abuse Check Adult Abuse Registry and motor vehicle screens.
• Must demonstrate competency in the use of technology including computers various software applications printers scanners telephones etc.
• Must also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement to include understanding and application of technology (hardware software equipment and processes).
