The ambitions
Handlangers currently employs 30 staff in Ghent Belgium. In Amsterdam we have 3 Account Managers. Our ambition is to expand the client portfolio in Gent.
As a business development managermanager you are responsible for developing the Handlangerscustomer portfolio. You are accountable forbringing in new business and creating sustainable relationships with potential customers that can benefit from Inbound Marketing Automation and Account Based Marketing demand generationcampaigns.
Your mission at Handlangers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation efforts
- Understand our ICP (ideal customer profile) and develop the business development activities accordingly
- You take care of the first introduction of our agency to potential customers
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions
- Collaborate with the strategic and creative teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the agencys capabilities
- Stay informed about industry trends market developments and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Represent the agency at industry events conferences and networking opportunities to enhance agency brand visibility and generate leads
- Youre the link between our new customer and your fellow Handlangers
- Youre the first point of contact for new customers. You detect the needs and work together with your colleagues to create tailormade solutions

- You feel at home in an online and offline environment
- Youre good at managing different tasks at the same time varying in size and subject
- You excel in connecting with potential customers and you meet their expectations
- You are an expert in using LinkedinSales Navigator for prospecting purposes
- Problem solving is one of your fortes: youre proactive you detect potential pitfalls and you take action
- Your organization communication and time management skills are excellent
- Youre a practical thinker with a handson attitude
- Youre alert and you keep your eyes and ears open for new opportunities

Job requirements
Your skills & experience
- You know marketing and communication inside out
- You have excellent sales and presentation skills
- You are not afraid topick up the telephone to convince a potential customer to a introductory meeting
- You have experience in a sales or marketing agency. You have successfully contributed to relevant cases
- You are fluent in Dutch and you can express yourself in English
- Knowing your way around office software and management tools is a given
