The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Pauls hospital is seeking applications for a Generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist position with clinical faculty appointment in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of British Columbia. The anticipated start date is November 1st 2025 or a date to be mutually agreed upon.

St. Pauls Hospital is one of the major academic centers in Vancouver and dedicated to clinical education at the undergraduate post graduate and advanced training levels. We will be moving to a new campus in Spring 2027. The New St. Pauls is the largest hospital redevelopment project in BCs history. This new 11story building with 546 beds and 16 operating rooms plus two dedicated operating rooms to maternity will be a stateoftheart hospital and one of the most digitally advanced in Canada. We are advancing our services in Complex OB and GYN surgery in preparation for the move to the New St. Pauls Hospital. Therefore we are seeking a candidate with a growth mindset and ability to participate in developing new programs and Physician Lead Quality Improvement (PLQI) projects. Having additional training or experience in pelvic ultrasound (OB or GYN) MIGS pelvic pain/endometriosis complex OB colposcopy or menopause is a strong asset.

The successful applicant will have certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and be eligible for licensure to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. The incumbent will report to the Site Department Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St. Pauls Hospital.

This position is funded by fee for service through the medical services plan of British Columbia with stipends paid for clinical teaching.
