Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers maintaining current licenses
by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Assists with or conducts initial and annual recertification/compliance inspections
of health care institutions regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Oversee and/or review
of quality systems by tracking documents corrective actions and other quality data. Assists with or conducts advanced level
investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing
services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies responds to technical questions
from licensees develops standards participates in rulemaking. Performs assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports
statements of deficiencies and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a licensees license or other types of legal orders.
Schedule and/or ensure inspections are performed according to regulatory timeframes. Participates in and/or leads staff advisory
committee and/or stakeholder organization meetings. Provides technical assistance to providers and consumers. Requests/analyzes/
oversees/responds to feedback from clients on services. Develops standard and ad hoc reports templates dashboards and other
performancerelated metrics. Oversees training program for new employees. Generates training materials and gives presentations to
internal/external stakeholders as assigned. Supervises directs and provides advice and guidance to lowerlevel worker.

approving leave requests and preparing evaluations).

Min. of Bachelors degree and 3 yrs exp as a surveyor/compliance officer OR Bachelors degree and 3 yrs exp in management or
project management or similar exp. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a professional license to practice in the State
of AZ or proof of eligibility for reciprocity of an outofstate license i.e. RN Social Worker Dietitian Counselor etc.
Must have drivers license and ability to travel statewide. Must possess a valid level one fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to
A.R.S. 411758.07 or must apply for a level one fingerprint clearance card within 7 working days after beginning employment. Must obtain within 2 years of hire: CLEARBasicNational Certified Investigator and Inspector Training Certificate and CLEARSpecialized
National Certified Investigator and Inspector Training Certificate.
