The beautiful Hilton Omaha is looking for passionate individuals to join our team as bartender at Nicks Quorum!Leading the way in competitive wages we are offering $12.00 per hour for this role plus tips and opportunities to continue to grow your career with the Hilton Omaha.
Inspired by the citys historical Saint Nicholas Claim House of 1854 Nicks Quorum Bar & Supper Club is a modern bar and supper club in downtown Omaha. Serving brunch daily and dinner Tuesday Saturday the kitchen is led by Culinary Director Marvin Woods and the menu features fresh interpretations of supper club classics from relish trays for the table to prime rib carved tableside. Our full bar is mixing up classic cocktails like our Brown Sugar Brandy Old Fashioned (made with spirits from local Brickway Brewery and Distillery) and playful recreations of afterdinner sippers like the Pink Squirrel and Grasshopper. Housed on the ground level of the Hilton Omaha Nicks Quorum draws inspiration from the original supper clubs in the Midwest (notice our immediate seating available sign) at the host stand.
As Bartender you will be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing
As a Bartender you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards
- Present and serve beverages to guests
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal state local and company laws and regulations
- Accurately total process and collect payments from guests to include but not limited to using the pointofsale system handling money processing credit and debit cards making change and processing gift certificates cards and vouchers
- Stock and maintain the bar to include but not limited to beer wine spirits paper products straws and stirrers condiments glassware ice and produce
- Cut store and ensure product quality of all beveragerelated perishables
- Respond professionally to inebriated guests as needed
