Role Summary:
We are seeking a Backend Engineer with experience in developing applications using Python and Java. At Globality we value versatile generalists who demonstrate strong problemsolving skills sound judgment and a commitment to delivering highquality softwarequalities that matter more than expertise in any specific technology.

What we are looking for:
- 3 years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of shipping successful projects
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Handson experience with agile development methodologies and microservice architecture
- Strong ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences both verbally and in writing
- A passion for continuous learning customer empathy and a desire to innovate within a fastpaced environment
We hope you will join us in building software using:
- Python or Java (Flask SQLAlchemy) GraphQL and (Express) for backend microservices
- Deployment in AWS powered by Docker and Kubernetes
- Continuous Integration via Drone
The anticipated annual pay scale for this position is $90000$130000. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Globalitys total compensation package for employees. This information is provided per the California Equal Pay Act.
