2iC Science Hounslow September 2025 Start
2iC Science required for a forwardthinking secondary school in Hounslow starting in September 2025.
This 2iC Science role is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Science Teacher ready to step into leadership. As 2iC Science youll support the Head of Science in delivering highquality teaching across KS3KS5 while contributing to curriculum development and raising attainment. The school is looking for a motivated 2iC Science who can lead by example inspire colleagues and model excellent classroom practice.
The successful 2iC Science will join a department with strong results collaborative planning and a focus on academic rigour. This is a perfect role for a Science specialist with prior teaching experience and a clear desire to influence wider departmental strategy.
2iC Science Responsibilities:
- Lead on KS4 curriculum planning and assessment
- Mentor junior staff and ECTs
- Teach across KS3KS5 with subject specialism
- Support wholeschool STEM initiatives
What Were Looking For:
- UK QTS and relevant Science degree (Biology Chemistry or Physics)
- Experience teaching up to GCSE or ALevel
- Evidence of leadership potential or experience
