As a Senior Manager you will be responsible to innovate and drive new Quality initiatives establish new test methodologies frameworks and processes for testing new device and OS find ways to leverage and scale to deliver without compromising quality and efficiency establish quality metrics and best practices for the team. You will lead the team by example as a quality leader who is customer obsessed thinks big and delivers result without compromising the quality. To do this you will have the most advanced tools at your disposal; however we expect you to bring new ideas and innovation to build/leverage as needed. You will be responsible for looking to the future and identifying what the team will need to test experiences that were not thought possible today. You will collaborate with team own and drive the quality of new products and SW releases.



Key job responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive quality strategies that align with the organizations goals.
Champion and embed a qualityfirst culture across all levels of the organization.
Manage mentor and develop a highperforming team of quality professionals.
Establish key quality metrics and continuously monitor performance to drive improvement.
Lead initiatives to enhance process efficiency reduce defects and improve product quality.
Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
Promote collaboration between quality engineering product management and other teams to ensure integrated quality processes.
Evaluate and implement quality tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in QA and testing and apply this knowledge to continuously improve software quality.

About the team

6 years of quality assurance engineering experience
4 years of delivering test automation test tools leading the QA projects and initiatives experience
Knowledge of QA methodology and tools with demonstrated experience in an QAE role
Experience in automation testing
Experience in manual testing

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
Indepth knowledge of OS architecture kernel development drivers system calls and security models.
Strong coding skills in languages commonly used in OS development such as C C and assembly language. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for test automation
Knowledge of industry standards and methodologies Agile/Scrum as they apply to OS development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines ensuring that quality is maintained at every stage of OS development
Experience managing large teams
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $157000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $271500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
