Job Description
Sub Same Day (SSD) is looking for a Sr. Program Manager with a delivery record and proven program management experience to own a significantly complex and crossorganization building design initiative for our faster than Same Day fulfillment centers. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including undertheroof and ontheroad processes engineering product solutions and development of long term roadmaps will be conducive in delivering innovations . This role will play a critical role in designing the future building design solutions for the SubSame Day business. It requires a highlevel of ownership over the strategic design and implementation the ability to think outside of the box willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process the ability to understand oneway vs twoway doors make tradeoff decisions and influence stakeholders. This role will scope highly complex building design and automation solutions identify risks/opportunities in strategies effectively force multiple and communicate to senior management to accelerating business progress.
Key job responsibilities
* Driving innovation that improves the undertheroof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network
* Partnering with crossfunctional teams to plan organize execute and standardize complex projects to achieve 2025 variable cost and quality goals
* Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams
* Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities
* Developing Amazon best practices for internal operations
* Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business
The Sr. Program Manager will also demonstrate:
* Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and iterative business space
* High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
* Willingness to challenge and influence big leaders
* Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
* Ability to work in a fastpaced environment where continuous innovation is desired
* Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
* Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
5 years of program or project management experience
Bachelors degree in supply chain business engineering finance or related technical or quantitative field
Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.
2 years of driving process improvements experience
Masters degree or Masters degree in supply chain business engineering finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
