About the Role
The Supervisor of Applications Development is an integral part of Lathams Technology and Information Services role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Programmer team and ensuring compliance with all firm policies and procedures while also supervising training and coaching the development team fostering professional growth and development. This role will be located in our Downtown Los Angeles office.Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and inoffice presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring team goals and objectives are met adhering to firm guidelines and policies
- Collaborating with HR and team leadership for recruitment training and performance management
- Developing training plans and materials for developers focusing on processes tools and technologies
- Analyzing business needs and developing solutions in collaboration with users and stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships providing application support and communicating project status to stakeholders
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

- Demonstrate leadership skills in organizing planning and decisionmaking
- Exhibit advanced knowledge of C# SQL and mobile development technologies
- Possess strong analytical and problemsolving skills
And have:
- A bachelors degree in information systems computer science engineering technology or a related field; in lieu of a degree significant equivalent work experience may be considered
- A minimum of seven 7 years of relevant programming experience
- A minimum of five 5 years of C# and SQL programming experience
- A minimum of three 3 years of experience managing or supervising a development team
