Pediatrician
A Pediatrician is needed in Miami Florida.
Miami is a vibrant city known for its rich cultural diversity beautiful beaches and yearround sunshine. This opportunity is with a growing healthcare organization committed to providing accessible highquality primary care to pediatric patients across South Florida.
Salary and Benefits
- Base salary: $185000 $205000 annually
- Bonus potential: Up to $24000 annually
- Saturday differential: Extra $410 per halfday worked (approximately $10600 annually)
- Total 1styear compensation potential: $240000
- Malpractice insurance fully covered
- Health dental and vision insurance through UnitedHealthcare (available day one; employee contribution required)
- Basic Life and AD&D coverage up to $employerpaid)
- Supplemental insurance options through Aflac
- 401(k) plan with employer match (available after 90 days)
- CME allowance: $500 annually plus 1 week of paid CME time off
- Paid time off:
- 136 hours PTO
- 11 paid holidays
- 1 floating holiday
- License DEA and NICA renewal fees covered
Responsibilities
- Fulltime outpatient pediatric care
- Average of 20 patients per day
- 1520 minutes scheduled per patient visit
- Provide wellchild care immunizations and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Participate in a Saturday rotation (extra pay)
- Minimal call one week of call once per year
- Maintain accurate documentation using EClinical Works (EMR)
- Deliver patientcentered culturally competent care in a multilingual environment
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (preferred)
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one)
- Bilingual Spanishspeaking candidates strongly preferred
- Strong commitment to providing highquality compassionate pediatric care
