A partner hospital in Statesville NC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Veterinarian to join their team. This fastpaced highvolume practice offers a wide variety of services including ultrasound digital xray endoscopy and full inhouse labs. The clinic treats a diverse range of animals from dogs and cats to pocket pets and exotics and is committed to providing excellent care. This is a fulltime position with no weekends required and a 4day workweek.
Responsibilities:
- Medical Care: Provide highquality medical care for animals including diagnosis treatment and surgeries.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the veterinary team including technicians assistants and receptionists ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration.
- Clinic Operations: Manage daily clinic operations including scheduling ordering supplies maintaining records and handling client communication.
- Client Education: Communicate treatment plans pet care and prevention to clients ensuring a high level of customer service and patient care.
- Marketing & Outreach: Develop and implement strategies to grow the clinics business including outreach programs and community engagement.
Qualifications:
- DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited institution.
- 25 years of experience as an Associate Veterinarian.
- Proficiency in all aspects of veterinary medicine including diagnostics treatments and surgeries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
