Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Working safely with tools and materials
- Ensuring quality parts are being formed and passed to the next operation by monitoring coil quality weld quality and cut quality
- Following work instructions and job traveler requirements
- Filling out documentation
- Actively seeking methods for improvement
- Any other duties assigned by the area Team Lead
Additional required Knowledge Skills and Attributes:
- Focus on safety of self and other teammates
- Focus on quality and NOAC (Next operator as customer)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Flexibility
- Accurate utilization of measuring equipment (calipers ring/plug/GNG pi tape tape measure linear gauge
- Welding experience a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand for long periods at a time
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalency
- Physical: Ability to lift 2530 lbs. on an infrequent basis
