Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a Teacher Mathematics with a secondary teaching area of Science responsible for delivering a cuttingedge curriculum at Sheldon College within the Mathematics and Science Faculty. Working with a dynamic team of dedicated educators your goal will be to enhance the capacity and confidence of students and delivery of the ACARA Curriculum.
This is a Full Time Fixed Term Term 3 role teaching Maths and Science Year 710.

About you
- Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications majoring in Mathematics and/or major or postgraduate in Education.
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Demonstrated experience delivering Mathematics curriculum in Secondary Education.
- Ability to plan and deliver exceptional teaching and learning programs that meet the needs ofstudents in Mathematics according to ACARA and QCAA.
- Passion for quality teaching and learning and the ability to translate this into a challenging learning environment with strong student engagement and excellent academic outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity for reflection and selfdirected learning with a commitment to continuouslyimprove teaching practices.
- Demonstrated experience applying creative and innovative practices and processes in education and digital platform tools to support student learning.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with students parents and colleagues andpartnerships within the wider community.
- Strong team orientation with a willingness to contribute and collaborate.
- High standards of personal integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to be a proactive and collaborative member of a team.
- A warm welcoming and friendly disposition.
- Experience and knowledge in preparing students for External Examinations.
- QCAA accreditation in the QCE processes including Endorsement Confirmation External Marking.
