Job Description
Senior Fabricator 1st Shift (Direct Hire Opportunity)
We are currently seeking a Senior Fabricator to join a growing team in a direct hire opportunity with an established company recognized as a leader in the air pollution control industry. This is a 1st shift role offering a great work environment and the chance to grow with a strong stable organization.
Responsibilities include:
Perform welding fabrication grinding and metal prep work
Operate overhead cranes forklifts man lifts and other shop equipment
Read and interpret blueprints
Support and guide less experienced fabricators
Inspect fabrication work to ensure it meets quality standards
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Occasionally assist with general labor assembly and driving company vehicles/trailers
Suggest design improvements and contribute to project planning
Knowledge of operating the following fabrication machines is a bonus but we are willing to train the right candidate:
Iron worker
Press brake
Shear
Sheet/plate rolling machines
CNC saw
CNC plasma table
Qualifications:
Technical or Associate degree in welding or equivalent handson experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills (especially fractiontodecimal conversion)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced setting
Valid drivers license
