An exciting opportunity has opened up for a dynamic Resource Specialist to join a forwardthinking environment where resource optimisation is at the heart of successful project delivery. Working on behalf of our client we are looking for a skilled professional to take ownership of proactive capacity planning and resource allocation across a busy IT and financial services portfolio. The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping future workforce strategies maintaining a detailed skills inventory and ensuring alignment between project demands and available talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive capacity planning and assess readiness for new project intake
- Optimise allocation of internal and external resources
- Monitor workloads and utilisation across project teams
- Resolve resource conflicts and manage shortages effectively
- Provide strategic input into workforce planning and capacitation
- Compile monthly resource reports and support continuous improvement of resourcing processes
Requirements:
- A relevant degree or higher diploma
- Project and Programme Management certification
- 45 years experience in a similar role within a projectfocused environment
- IT and financial services industry experience is essential
- Portfolio Management Certification (PfMP SAFe) is advantageous
