Job Title: Renewables Electrician
Location: Bedford
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent
Salary Range:per year (depending on experience and contract type)
Working Hours: 8hour shift (Monday to Friday)
Position Overview:
We are currently recruiting experienced and motivated Renewables Electricians to support the delivery of solar photovoltaic
(PV) and air/ground source heat pump systems across a range of residential commercial and social housing projects. This is

Key Responsibilities:
Installation testing and commissioning of solar PV systems and air/ground source heat pumps.
Conduct electrical wiring system integration and connection to inverters and control units.
Ensure compliance with current regulatory and health & safety standards.
Work collaboratively with project managers site supervisors and other trades.
Complete all necessary documentation and customer handover requirements.
Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support when required.
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in installing solar PV systems and/or renewable heating systems.
Relevant electrical qualifications such as:
o 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
o NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
o ECS Gold Card or equivalent
Strong understanding of current electrical codes standards and best practices.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of battery storage systems and EV charger installations
Additional certifications such as G98/G99 Part P or heat pump installer training
Experience working within social housing or largescale commercial environments
