Williams College a Division III institution and member of the New England Small College Athletics Conference (NESCAC) is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Coach of Womens Soccer. This is a fulltime 40 hours per week) 10month position with a full meal plan and a benefit package spread over 12 months and also provides full tuitionremission of graduate school after six months of employment.
Williams womens soccer has consistently been one of the premier soccer programs in the nation having won national titles inand 2018. The program has won eight NESCAC Championships and has finished ranked in the Top 25 on 19 separate occasions. In addition to competing on the national level the program prides itself on more than just the success on the field. A vital pillar of the team is its emphasis on fostering a positive competitive environment and building a diverse and inclusive community. Responsibilities:
Assisting the head coach in the planning and of practices and skill development in both the fall competitive season and the spring developmental season
Managing the recruiting database
Assisting with the identification and recruitment of qualified student athletes who can succeed in the challenging academic environment at Williams
Scheduling and travel
Assist with video analysis game breakdown and opponent scouting
Working at Williams camps and clinics
Goalkeeper practices and development
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Collegiate playing and/or 25 years of coaching experience
Experience coaching girls or womens soccer preferred
Goalkeeper coaching experience preferred
Knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA Division III policies and ability to abide by these
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively required
Valid Drivers license. Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check is also a condition of employment in order to be able to drive college vehicles and/or transport students.
