WHO YOU ARE

You are a selfmotivated Salesforce Implementation Specialist who is equally adept at communicating with computers as you are at communicating with people. You like to experiment in Salesforce and build solutions that make life easier for those you work with. While you have formal certification in Salesforce you want to blend that with a desire to make an impact on philanthropy. Youre also excited to share your knowledge and contribute to a growing Salesforce practice.

WHAT YOULL DO

As a Salesforce Implementation Specialist youll build customized solutions on the Salesforce platform and help integrate Salesforce and other cloud solutions for grants management customer relationship management and related functional areas that meet our foundation clients needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation & Build Activities 40 of your time)

• Build out solutions using declarative Salesforce functionality including complex automations using Flow Builder.
• Work with various application integration solutions that ensure data is collected analyzed and visualized that are user friendly and meeting business requirements.
• Set up online portals in Experience Builder for different audiences including grantees reviewers auditors etc. each with their own branding functionality and security requirements.
• Automate communications between the foundation and their applicants to streamline the grant approval process.
• Create a security and access plan and build inSalesforce per the clients needs including but not limited to GDPR rules.
• Set up integration for bidirectional data flow according to agreed upon business rules that are secure. Examples are financial document esignature application and translation integrations; and functional applications that improve the flow functionality.
• Create customized reports and dashboards based on various objects for various roles within foundations to understand operations identify potential bottlenecks and oversee fund management and measure impact against benchmarks.
• Develop continuous cycle QA and UAT testing deployment and support of new features and changes to ensure systems are available and functioning for staff as intended
• Responsible for launch activities for new environments as well as complex existing
• environments

System & Application Architecture Design 30 of your time)

• Design system architecture including custom data models and workflows.
• Design Integration Architecture solution for diverse client needs including financial services integration.

Client Success Management Activities 20 of your time)

• Lead discovery meetings to map out business processes with clients and translating them into requirements for systems that evaluate and rank applications.
• Use your Project Management skills to build a positive and longlasting relationship with our clients.

Additional Responsibilities 10 of your time)

• Prepare and facilitate internal training on products and functionalities in the Salesforce ecosystem for internal colleagues.
• Produce or contribute to clientspecific training documentation.
• Write blog posts around technology best practices and processes.

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

Must have:

• Two years of working with the implementation and technology adoption of Salesforce.
• Two years experience working with flow for data collection such as application and report forms leveraging data tables and multibranching.
• Two years working with large data sets either through analysis or supporting system migrations.
• Two years experience in translating nontechnical business requests to technical requirements
• One year experience working with integration applications specifically FormAssembly FormStack DocuSign Conga.
• Proven interpersonal skills and a customer serviceoriented approach.

Nice to have:

• Two years working in a grantmaking environment including in Salesforce grantmaking product solutions specifically foundationConnect Outbound Funds Module NPSP Nonprofit Cloud Grantmaking.
• One year experience working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and relational databases.
• Eligible to travel to client offices across North America.

HOW YOULL BENEFIT

SALARY & BENEFITS

Grantbook has a transparent salary structure with 6 levels from A through F. We are looking for a candidate who has handson experience with Salesforce implementation and can make recommendations as to best practices at the salary level of C. Your starting salary will be CAD$84376.50. Throughout your interview process well learn more about your skills and experience and determine your salary based on what you bring to the team.

We take pay equity at Grantbook very seriously and strive to ensure everyone on our team is accurately and fairly compensated for their work. This means someone who is less comfortable negotiating a higher salary wont be financially penalized compared to someone who readily argues for higher pay. Our salary bands are tied to similar roles in the market. We scan similar organizationssize sector culture with the goal to provide competitive compensation. Each level reflects a stage of progress at Grantbook defined by expected experience and skills for that level.

In addition to base pay all Grantbook team members will enjoy a bonusan equal share of a dedicated portion of profits set aside to reward the whole team for exceptional performance on our impact goals.

WHERE WE WORK

We are a mostly remotefirst team with a fantastic office for collaborating (and having pizza lunches) centrally located by Sherbourne subway station in Toronto. We have team members in Vancouver but the majority of our staff is located in and around Toronto. We will consider exceptional candidates from other locations in Canada as well.
