Thrive Pet Healthcare offers a Veterinary Bovine Internship for graduates of veterinary school tospend one year training in emergency & specialty care. We also offer additional skills and tools needed for a long & successful career in veterinary medicine. You will be prepared to pursue additional specialty training or General Practice / Ambulatory positions. Thrive offers this bovine Internship to begin June 2026. You can book an externship now for preMatch consideration for 2026! Candidates must be eligible to obtain a veterinary license in the United States by June 15 2026.

Elgin Veterinary Hospital is a distinguished large animal surgical referral and full service veterinary facility that takes pride in offering the most advanced and highest quality medical and surgical treatments for our patients. Our purpose is to provide superior client service and patient care that creates a lasting relationship based on trust and respect.
The Bovine Division has many years of experience serving the food animal industry in many production areas including; purebred cattle commercial cow/calf stocker feed lot bucking stock as well as club calf producers. Our Staff is here to help with any animal needs or client requests.

This is a rolling application until the right candidates are matched with the program. You must be able to obtain a veterinary licenses in Texas and have a valid drivers license by the start date.
