Job Description
Amazon Direct Import Product Compliance empowers vendors sellers and internal business partners to efficiently move compliant and safe products across borders at scale. We are looking for a smart hardworking and creative Sr. Product Compliance Manager to support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses. You will work directly with business leadership tech legal catalog logistics and other internal business partners to drive projects that address critical business and regulatory requirements. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the development of the strategies policies processes tools and solutions that enable crossborder movement of goods worldwide. The successful candidate will have a strong combination of trade and product compliance knowledge classification and project management skills. Key job responsibilities
Manage GTS Product Compliance strategies for ensuring products are classified to the appropriate regulatory requirements and risks
Build implement and launch mechanisms to operationalize global and regional regulatory and compliance requirements at scale
Act as a key interface and representative between the global program operations tech legal and business stakeholders
Develop relationships with relevant industry bodies to obtain insights and help shape the regulatory landscape
Partner with Amazons internal technology teams to develop bestinclass compliance business processes and systems that scale
Drive continuous improvement to program and operations capabilities strategies and practices
Develop and maintain accurate metrics to measure program health and proactively identify risks
A day in the life
In this role no two days will be exactly the same but regular activities will include:
Developing and communicating strategies for managing compliance requirements for new and innovative business initiatives
Partnering with business legal and operations partners to develop strategies to support rapid growth of Amazons import programs
Collaborating with technical teams to define requirements for Amazons systems driving relevant import and export programs
Streamlining and improving accuracy and efficiency for product compliance classification

Bachelors degree or equivalent
6 years of compliance audit or risk management experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
Masters degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
