You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCorewell Health South is seeking a fulltime Advanced Practitioner to join our expanding Critical Care team in Southwest Michigan. Desire candidates who are patientcentered and teamoriented. Experienced practitioners with ICU or emergency medicine backgrounds preferred.
The Critical Care Team provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph and Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital Niles. Facilities includes a stateoftheart 18bed Critical Care Unit (St. Joseph) and 8Bed Critical Care Unit (Niles).Blockstyle schedule with providers rotating seven 7 consecutive days on followed by seven 7 days off. Shifts are from 7:00am to 7:00pm and 8:00pm 8:00am. Epic electronic health record is used for documentation.
Opportunity to rotate between shifts and sites. Practitioners will function autonomously and independent with onsite support provided during daily rounds with an intensivist physician. Back up provided via phone or telemedicine.
Team includes 10 physicians and anticipated 4 advanced practitioners.
Procedures include performing central line arterial line thoracentesis paracentesis and intubation. A variety of subspecialists available for referrals and collaboration opportunities on patient care.
Qualifications
Required Masters Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
