Job Description
We are looking for a Business Domain Architect who will focus on the supply and production domain at VELUX. In this role youll help shape our IT landscape to support our manufacturing operations and supply chain. You will work closely with business and IT teams ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business needs and translate them into clear architectural direction and roadmaps.
- Design a future application landscape aligned with our business goals and IT strategy.
- Help choose new technologies and tools that fit well with our current and future setup.
- Maintain and improve our Business Capability Map with input from supply and production teams.
- Ensure the architecture supports business priorities and keeps evolving with our needs.
- Represent the Digital Delivery team alongside Business Relationship Managers and Project Managers in shaping IT projects.
- Work closely with other architects (domain solution and data) to ensure consistent and scalable solutions.
- Join our Architecture Community of Practice to share knowledge and align best practices.
- Support the use of architectural standards and processes in business projects.
- Help improve architecture methods tools and capabilities.
What Were Looking For:
- 10 years of experience in IT architecture with extensive experience in manufacturing and supply chain.
- Deep understanding of business and information architecture especially in applications and data for manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with concept and technologies like MESH and traceability systems.
- IT/OT infrastructure experience.
- Fluent English and effective communication skills able to explain complex topics clearly to different audiences.
- Good problemsolving skills and a structured approach to designing solutions.
- Experience with architecture modeling and documentation tools.
- Willingness to travel (about 4050 days per year).
