CNC Machinist
Fridley MN Contract to Hire $23 $30/hour
Monday to Thursday 5 am 3:30 pm or 6 am 4:30 pm
Job Summary: As a Steinhauer Operator you will play a vital role in the companys production process. Your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining a Steinhauer machine. You will ensure the efficient and accurate manufacturing of products while adhering to quality and safety standards.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Operate the Steinhauer machine effectively and efficiently to produce highquality products according to specifications.
- Setup and Preparation: Set up the machine including installing necessary tools loading materials and adjusting machine settings for each job.
- Monitoring Production: Monitor the production process closely to ensure the machine operates smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on the manufactured products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of production activities including job setups materials used production counts and any issues or defects encountered.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a Steinhauer machine or similar CNC equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measuring tools and instruments.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
