What You Will Do:Develop and expand your career as a WSB Sustainability Program ManagerColorado!
As a Sustainability Program ManagerColorado you will:
- Be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for clients in the public and private sector.
- Live and work in Front Range as an established business builder with demonstrated success building a new book of business in a new geographic market.
- Bring in new relationships for future billable work with your local government land use planning background and sustainability expertise.
- Manage a workload of 50 business development and 50 project work when hired then an increasing ratio of project work that you will bring in resulting in have higher utilization rates by end of first year of employment
- Leverage Coloradobased connections in business and government to build new business in the state as well as growth in other states core to WSBs services.
- Use your project management skills to plan direct track and execute activities for current and future projects in Colorado and other states. Meet or exceed utilization rate expectations of approximately 70. Lead project teams manage and deliver successful projects budgets design project scopes and meet client expectations.
- Conduct tailored research writing strategy and analysis to support climate and other sustainability client deliverables.
- Manage external engagement with clients and key stakeholders such as Councils Commissions Boards CSuite corporate and governmental staff.
- Collaborate with and report to the Sr. Director of Sustainability regarding growth strategy and for sustainability. Work with the team to formulate strategy and lead the proposal process for sustainability projects for business and governmental sectors. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to respond to RFPs and prepare winning proposals.
- Support the WSB Sustainability Team and corporate sustainability operational efforts to advance the WSB Sustainability Plan
- Represent WSB to external clients provide an excellent level of service to clients and maintain successful customer relationships.
- Successfully cultivate internal client relationships.
- Participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients through the following activities:
- plan lead and participate in client meetings and networking events;
- develop new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise and geographic regions; and
- identify suggest and secure projects from new and existing clients.
Your experience level will determine the amount of independent judgment granted the complexity of tasks performed and direct supervision received.
What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have:
- 8 years of industry experience with increasingly progressive responsibilities in Sustainability Resiliency Planning or Circularity
- Experience working with public and private sectors
Our preferred candidate would have:
- Experience in managing projects clients and staff.
- Greenhouse gas inventory reporting and emissions reductions strategy experience.
- A history in delivering projects with positive customer service experiences.
- Familiarity with electric vehicle policy planning and technology.
- A selfstarter with positive attitude as well as a willingness to learn.
- Business development experience.
- The ability and desire to develop an understanding of the clients needs.
- The ability to positively manage and motivate team members and coordinate multiple disciplines toward common goals.
