Job Description
Job Title: Helper
Location: Peoria IL
Pay: $15 $17/hour
Were looking for a reliable and safetyfocused Helper to join our team! If you enjoy working outdoors supporting drivers and making a positive impact in the community we d love to connect.
Responsibilities:
- Collect solid waste/recyclable materials from customer premises and/or from the curbside if applicable.
- Load solid waste into the rear or side of the waste collection vehicle
- Sort recyclables and deposit materials into the appropriate compartments in the collection truck if applicable.
- Assist driver in safe operation of the vehicle by directing the driver in backing up the vehicle and in close space maneuvering.
- 1 year of heavy lifting experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
