Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Science Teacher to join a highachieving 1118 school in Kensington. The successful Science Teacher will teach KS3KS4 Science with potential opportunities to specialise at KS5. The department is wellresourced offering a modern and engaging Science curriculum. This Science Teacher role is ideal for someone passionate about Science education. The school is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science team.

Location: Kensington

Role: Science Teacher (FullTime Permanent)

Start Date: September For a passionate

Science TeacherTLR: Possible for the right Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of scientific concepts.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Science.
  • Potentially contribute to the teaching of Science at ALevel depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire students in Science.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to contribute to the Science department (for TLR consideration).
