About the Department:

The role Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities in Germany. You will ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements while meeting the specific needs of the regional market. Your role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring the efficient of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and optimize procurement processes for the region including demand collection supplier selection contract management and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with headquarters policies and local regulations while adapting to the unique demands of the regional market.
  • Identify and develop highquality suppliers within the region.
  • Conduct supplier audits negotiate contracts and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage contract to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Handle contract changes and disputes ensuring smooth contract fulfillment.
  • Execute procurement activities including supplier selection price comparison order management and service quality assessment.
  • Optimize procurement costs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to regional procurement activities.
  • Conduct spend analysis and provide insights to support decisionmaking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or above in relative field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement preferably in a regional or multisite role.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint Excel) and experience with procurement platforms.
  • An analytical mind with problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
